The Blue Marble Ventures investment team consists of experienced entrepreneurs, management professionals, and early-stage investors with excellent track records.

Each member of our team brings different skills, foremost being our operating experience as managers in venture stage companies and our investing experience. Each investment we make is led by one of the partners, with a designated backup partner that attends most meetings and is always current on what is happening and can be reached should the responsible partner be unavailable.

When a company needs additional capital, our experience in capital raising and investment banking leads us to explore all available sources in addition to equity. This ensures existing investors and our investment are not unnecessarily diluted.

When a company experiences difficulty, we are able to draw from our personal business leadership experience as well as our operating background to help. Additionally, all of the partners are experienced CEO's who can provide hands-on management, sales and business development support to our companies.

When a company needs experienced executives, we can help identify and screen candidates. And finally, when a company is ready to consider a sale or wishes to consider acquiring another companies, we can bring first hand experience that can help a company evaluate the risks and rewards before engaging professionals and/or we can provide that service.

Stanley Holt
Stanley has been building online businesses and marketplaces for 14 years. As the VP of Publishing at his last two companies, Internet Brands and eHarmony, he managed more than 50 automotive, home, wedding and parenting sites. Those sites utilize content, tools and community to connect users and businesses. Stanley helped IB expand from a single ecommerce site, CarsDirect.com, into the world's largest network of automotive shopping and enthusiast sites, bringing together more than 12M monthly unique visitors and advertisers ranging from small vendors to the leading car and accessory manufacturers.

Stan has an M.B.A. from UCLA and holds a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. He also has a B.A. in urban affairs from Haverford College.

Why Green?
Having been involved in building very large communities for a number of years I have acquired a "global perspective" on people, populations and our planet.  I believe it is critical that each of us leverage our skills, contacts and experience and use them to effect positive change for a sustainable future.

Nikhil R. Jain
Nikhil's expertise revolves around building business and teams from idea phase with a specialization in internet/web technologies, software and green businesses. He has a long track-record of helping entrepreneurs successfully develop their ideas into thriving ventures. In addition, Nikhil has been the founder and CEO of multiple start-ups, all of which have had profitable exits.

Prior to joining Blue Marble Ventures, Nikhil was the Founder and CEO of Artilient, LLC, a highly successful management consulting firm. He is also the Founder of CleanGreenGuy.com, a website that has rapidly become one of the world's largest resources for Clean/Green Tech businesses and persons interested in participating in the new "Green Economy".

Nikhil received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Pondicherry University and MBA in Finance from USC's Marshall School of Business.

Why Green?
I believe that sustainability is not an option, but it is every person’s duty to help attain it in their daily lives and spread awareness in their community. I also believe that entrepreneurship is the answer to pushing sustainability initiatives to the community and to create green jobs in order to help improve or economy.
